Mark Bowen, BA, CHT, LMSW, HD, Counselor
Service Area(s): Virtual, Savannah, GA

My journey as a doula is to prioritize supporting partners of pregnant people. Most often, we are called ‘Daddy Doulas’, but my services extend to anyone regardless of the gender identity of either partner. People who are partners to someone that is childbearing also need guidance, education, and emotional support as someone fully engaged in this beautiful and challenging journey. The process of being a partner during pregnancy is not easy to go through. I got you! I am currently employed at Georgia Regional Hospital as a social services provider and in private practice as a psychotherapist. I have over 20 years of experience working with youth, pre-k-12, in the non-profit sector, which has most often included supporting the parents of the youth I work with. The things I enjoy doing in my spare time and practicing for self-care include gardening, exercising, hiking, reading, cooking, combat training, thrifting, community organizing, watching tv, fun nights out on the town, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family.
